Small Scale Military Headquarters

I have experienced the same yellowing that aferg is referring to. Mine was in a warm storage area for a while between being displayed. I have not tried anything to help the discoloration, but I have done the peroxide on white plastic on an original Buck Rogers Starfighter and it worked some.

I too miss those days of scoring a new plane. I remember the first time I saw the original P-51 & Bf 109 at TRU. I couldn’t believe it, they were making these awesome planes in that 1/18 scale with figures. I still have most of those planes and some armor too. Always thought it would be cool to meet...

Hello, I remember that certain 1:18 planes (or paint schemes)were rarer than others. I need help with which ones those are. This is for both 21st Century and BBI planes.

You can still purchase the 2nd version of the 1/32 Phantom -Aiken's Airplanes has them-I just purchased a couple. I had been meaning to for a while but this thread spurred me on to do it before they became untouchable.

Unfortunate indeed. But it does appear that the 1:18 market is small. Hopefully some sort of models can be continued via custom model makers.
