I've always been puzzled why 21st didn't jump on a 1:18 version of these vehicles. They should be dirt cheap to produce.

Whadaya know, the S. Pkwy WM in Huntsville, AL, finally had some FW190s that weren't candy canes, and the 32x Wirbelwind. What would that be, just a year later than everyone else in the country? Could I dream of some Bubbletop P47s or ME109s by Christmas??????

A B-17, if done well, would practically jump (or fly?) off the shelves. Then there would be the trickle-down effect in that people would have to have some P-51s to escort the B-17, and then a Bf-109 attacking and then.......

Mark, Very nice stuff that Build-A Rama is doing. I'd like to see something added to the lineup, though, and that would be some building facades just barely deeper than two dimensional. That way I can put it behind my Panzer columns that sit on a shelf. And best of all, they should be fairly cheap t...

Do it in 1/32 scale first, the sales would boggle the mind and the size wouldn't be too much bigger than the 1/18 XDs already available. Then, if they feel like it, they can get fancy and try a 1/18 version. Imagine a 1/32 Fortress surrounded by a few Mustangs hanging from a ceiling!

Mike and Aferg, Many thanks for all this Q & A info. It's refreshing to see that somebody, anybody with BBI actually cares that this line stays successful. Sometimes I wonder if this is true with 21st. Kudos to BBI for the Mustang. If you keep up work like that (Accurate, Affordable, Accessable) "if...

As confining as the bocage was, I'm sure it happened sometimes. But I've never read any accounts of it being anything but a rare occurance anywhere in the war.

I can see where it would be possible, that Arizona sun beating down on an unvented attic would create a lot of heat. The diecast metal would just conduct the heat and put added weight on the plastic weight bearing pieces, causing them to sag. I'm afraid it's a "living at home" tradition. Dads step o...

Finally found a rogue Flak 88 in North Alabama. The two included figures are mediocre (one lining up a range-finder, the other loading), but the 88 is a work of art. It sounds to me like the one TTT saw was a swap someone did by pulling the entire base out of the box with everything still factory t...

With all due respect to OnWu, if BBI puts out a quality Zero and gets TRU to evenly distribute it, the dollars will be practically jumping into their pockets. If they put out a mediocre piece of crap, or if TRU pulls a WM and sends them all to North Dakota and Idaho, then it will fall on its' face. ...

A well-made Zero (that is quality like the P-51) would sell like hotcakes, as would a Hellcat. But another Corsair I'm afraid will only generate mediocre sales and could sour BBI on their WW II line... And regarding armor, a Sherman Easy Eight or Firefly (again well-made ) would sell at least as wel...

Personally, outside of 21st' recent plans to try to beat the quality of the BBI Mustang, I don't see 21st as being organized enough to do any of this other stuff (such as preempting a BBi P-47). If they were even slightly organized, they could have doubled their sales up to now.

Hey, where did the scoop come from about the 1/9 scale Abrams?

If it's done right it'll be a beautiful thing, but I'd much rather have them do a quality one in 1/18 scale. Every tank enthusiast and tanker from the last 20 years would buy one of those.
