VF-11 Red Ripper F4......

A good friend of mine was on CV-59 in 77-81 with the Red Rippers.
I would like to find a version of this Phantom in a smaller (I collect 1:18 stuff) scale, but I have no idea where the first stop should be.
Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks

The "Glitch" he was looking for the that he incorrectly stated the engine as a Wright Whirlwind. It should have been Wright Cyclone
I'll let you fellas know when he posts similar reviews that may be of interest here.

Thanks for looking fellas! Joe is a lot of fun and was even featured on the Home and Garden television show Look What I've Done where he showed the race track that drops out of the ceiling, how it made it all, and all the fun stuff. Joe just launched his site a couple of weeks ago and seems to havin...

1:18 Avenger review....

I collect mainly 1:18 scale cars and a friend of mine recently sprung a deal with many manufacturers (including 21st Century and Admiral). He posts video reviews on his site. His current review is the Lost Squadron Avenger. http://www.thecarroom.com/currentreview.html Give it a look and let me know ...

1969 Charger Daytona Mod..

I collect 1:18 diecast cars and have over 500 of them. For quite some time now, I've been wanting a Joe Dirt Daytona. I've seen a couple of people's versions and they just lacked what I wanted (not to mention availability.) Then over 2 years ago, I contacted Todd at Junkyard Jewels. He said he had w...

Any others?
I thought that originally the Pappy Boyington Corsair was a Bad Cat only, but now it isn't?

I guess the 2 Motorworks Corsairs I have would qualify then too. Sure, the plane itself if the same production and the Navy version, but the packaging is what sets it apart. I believe they were only sold in 5 WalMarts nationwide.

I was always under the impression that the Tigers didn't have their "own" planes. I also heard this about many Pacific theater sqauds. They flew was was flyable that day. Is there any truth to this? I also heard that "Lucy Belle" was just a photo op plane, He never flew it.
