Articulation wise they are about the same as lego figures :) just movable arms and legs. They do make nice custom fodder to work on. Distribution is spotty, from the postings I've seen they show up in Big Lots and Rite Aids in the U.S but irregularly and you're never sure what you get, we get the wh...

Hi all,

Sorry I was supposed to have let everyone know that I've posted a picture of the harrier but it slipped my mine due to work, the Harrier is underscaled naturally but it'll do until BBI or 21st does one :)

Yes, there are two versions, a desert and woodland camo tank, it's pretty nice and I have not seen it reissued by Chap Mei for a while so the mold could be lost or something so best get one while they are still out there.

Hey Jason, No problem on reposting my info, I'm on so many forums/board that sometimes I can't remember which one I posted the info on :) Steel Bonnet is too kind on me but don't take it too literally that if I'm excited, it's that good, I get pretty stroked up when I see a new military piece that's...

1/16 RC LAV

Was looking around at the toyshops here (in Malaysia before everyone starts out hunting :) ) and saw an RC 1/16 LAV, if I'm not mistaken, I believed it's actually a modified BBI mold as it includes packs etc in the same position as the BBI LAV though the R/C vehicle is very much larger, and sports a...

Wow, great stuff, any pics of the legionnaires by themselves? BTW a little OT here but I've been pretty hooked by Simon Scarrow's 'Eagle' fiction series of two Roman legionnaires. You can check out his page and more info on the books at the link below, pretty good reading IMO; http://www.scarrow.fsn...

Just to add on this thread, no problem Steel Bonnet on getting the wiesals for you. On the Osprey, it is about the size of the Seaknight helicopter, I am planning on getting one by the end of this month, just saving up for it as Chap Mei is very pricy in my part of the world, I'll post pics of cours...

Well other than the thread on joecustoms, I have no info on these as I've not seen them in my part of the world. I guess we'll get better pics when someone on this board gets hold of them.

Possible new BBI stuff at Target

There's a thread on joecustoms on the link below with pics though I'm inclined to think these are fakes since false packaging on knockoffs is a common practice here in the far east, that said this is only an assumption of mine so make of that as what you will :) http://www.joecustoms.com/board/viewt...

There's a few female figures in the 3 3/4 G.I joe line too for heads though their headsculpts tend to make it difficult to put any helmets on them without some work done. The joe female figures will solve you problems of having female torsos. You could also check out the Japanese gashaphon figures, ...

The only problem is that from what I see on pictures that have been posted is that the PTE Blackhawk is noticeably smaller than the BBI Blackhawk so they are not compatible for scenes together.

Well, survivability didn't matter much for the Japanese due to their cultural outlook at that time and every soldier was supposed to give their life for the Emperor. The army placed a lot more emphasis on martial spirit so equipment was less a priority.

Tha Japanese didn't have anything like the panzerfaust or bazooka, from what I remember reading, I think it was a hollowed charged explosive at the end of a stick which was fairly sucidal to use as you had to get close to the tank to use it.

Best place to look for 1/18 stuff in DC and Hawaii?

Hi all, I'll be going to the states on a U.S govt programme though I don't think I'll have much free time save for the DC and Hawaii portions of the trip, not that I'm complaining since I'm going to Cheyenne Mountain and Fort Lewis so that's worth the busy part, anyway I'll be grateful if you guys c...

With that line up, who is Left as the SOF line? Is Soldier of Fortune now more of a term for Professional Soldier, in that case Fortune is a relative term. I always thought SOF was all about Mercenaries and Hired guns, but looking at the line announced it seems more like, the Extreme Units, the one...

I have my doubts as to anyone making any modern terrorists/insurgents figures as that'll be too sensitive to put on the toy aisles, just look at the issue of TRU and 21st Century WWII Germans a year or so ago. Given that the BBI 1/18th line is sold on the general market, I doubt they'll make any ter...
