Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

Very happy with the results. Picklehaube may want to dust off his T-34 molds. Those Russian tankers are going to need something to drive.

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

Mayhem is now up to 64 figures. The Avg Cost for the Mayhem Level is now $15.61 per figure. That's a great Deal.

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

Axis, I have invested in 3 of the Marauder Campaigns, they have come through with everything promised so far. They are great guys, and far better at managing these Kickstarters then some others I have invested in. If you like the figures but our nervous Just put in for 1 or 2. I've put in full Mayhe...

Posting custom pics?

So, Photobucket decided I had way to many pics being shared off sight and wants me to pay if I want to have direct links of my customs. I've moved a lot of my stuff over to Facebook, but I know not everyone uses Facebook. What other hosting sights have you been using to post your custom pics?

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

That is just a digital concept. The tooling sample's helmet looks much better.

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

The new order of the Stretch Goals is awesome. I know they could have used the funds of the single color figures to pay for the new tooling. You won't see any of the Big Corps sacrifice their profits like this to give collectors what they want.

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

I agree, the FOV helmets were the best...The Our War helmets only fit on the tiny Our War heads. Half of the 21st Century figure's helmets were to small, but the 21st, with canvas covers were pretty sweet.

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

Sweet! If we unlock at least one Stretch Goal a day, until the Kickstarter ends, we will get at least 2 factions, that have never been represented in this scale.

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

@mudhen336
The quality is much better then the 21st Century XD figures. Better Articulation, less fragile, better paint apps, and sculpting. The factory they use for their figures produces the best quality 1:18 action figures in the market place.

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

Thanks Normandy. I've been on a hiatus as far as the military customs go.But when I get these in hand I'm sure I'll be back at it. As far as Kickstarters go, Marauders is a pretty safe bet. They have a good track record of fulfilling their orders for their backers. You just have to be patient,it can...

Re: Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter

I went all in Mayhem level on this one . If every stretch goal is met, it's a bargain, at just over $10 dollars a figure. Hell, if even half the stretch goals are met it come out around $14 a figure. Those prices for figures of this quality is a great deal, since these will probably retail around $2...

Re: New line of Western 1:18 scale action figure

Gimme 2 steps now includes 33 figures...3x the "All In" brings the PPF to around $24, it may be a little late in the game to organize group purchases, but that's not a bad deal at all. I personally have split my pledges up, to help get the BLV unlocked, but this is a great option, for anyone caught ...

Myrmidon Armor Repaints

I did a little Dry Brushing on the Myrmidon Armor. It really brings out the details on these amazing sculpts. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/Order66Customs025/IMG_7008_zpsxfrgoc4y.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/Order66Customs025/IMG_7012_zpsfhpwwhho....

The Great White Hunter

I have been wanting a good pith helmet for a long time, finally animal planet (Chap Mei) made an excellent sculpt for there Giant Spider and Elephant sets. '68 SS Mad Max Stlye

I've had this project on on the back burner for a couple of years now. With the new Mad Max film in theaters I felt inspired to get it done. Let me know what you think. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/Order66Customs009/MadSS_zps72p9q8aa.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u2...

Another Chap Mei head sculpt, i felt had some potential, just needed a little paint work and a new Body. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/Order66Customs007/NavySeal_zpsytxj58oy.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/Order66Customs007/NavySeal2_zpsce7aabeb.jpg ...

Chap Mei/PTE Kit Bashed USMC

I love the sculpts of the Chap Mei USMCs but hate the articulation. Vice vesa, I like the articulation of the PTE soldiers, but find the sculpts lacking. Here are some much improved USMCs I cobbled together using the 2 lines. LMK what you think. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/...

The brand is "our space" I switched the heads and painted the visors silver. The head sculpts were terrible and the visors were white.

1:18 Apollo Astronauts

I found these at TRU today. They need a little work, but for $20 you get 2 Astronauts, a Moonbuggy and some smaller scale Rocket, Shuttle, and satelite. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/Moonlanding_zps03cbc451.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u27/Order66Customs/Order66Cust...

Re: What is in the future of our Beloved 1/8th Scale

I have abandoned all other scales except my 1:18, I have invested heavily in the new Virtruvian HACKS line and Maurarder's Kickstarter project. I think, if someone has the resources and talent to put together a proper historical 1:18 scale military action figure line Kickstarter, it would have a goo...

I have pledged enough to build a small Greek army. I was not that interested in the gorgons, just got Medusa.
