DAK Camel Trooper

This may be a bit of a stretch, but I have seen some photos of Germans riding Camels durring the North Africa campaign. I changed up the hip articulation to allow him to stradel the camel. I received my first set in the mail today. The equipment was a little fragile, the Mess kits and water bottles broke off a couple of the sets when I was taking them out of the packaging. I was under the impression that each figure came with additional arms and legs so you could change up their poses...

I'm always blown away by this kind of scratch built modeling. Do you start with some type off pattern or do you figure out the geometry of each piece on you own? It lukes great so far, I can't wait to see it complete.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I'm glad you guys liked the work. olifant, The Samurai armor was kit bashed using a Star War Koffi figure for the base. The Waist armor is from the POTC Captain Sao Feng. The Chest and shoulder pieces were cut from a LOTR Chainmail Kilt. And the Helmet is from GTG ...

I'd love to see the Kubelwagen wagon again, in the original color scheme and a DAK repaint. I would like to have a couple more Panzer IV's Mix em' up a bit give us 4 variations and leave out the Radio Control. As far as new stuff goes, A BMW Motorcycle w/ side Car amd MG-34 would be a great addition...

Found the new Dak (Kneeling w/ MP40) It looks like TRU put out a solid case of just this figure. I thought I would have found the other DAk Artillary Crewman, but no such luck.
