I couldn't get the first link to work, but had a good long read through the second link. He's mainly spouting common sense, but there are plenty of people who lack just that. I strongly disagree when he says " The Army being a blind obedience and stupid outfit might place you in a situation where yo...

Build-A-Rama's stuff is world class! Anyone who does not currently own some their product should order with confidence. I have several things they produce and they really look nice next to 21st stuff. I anxiously await the new medic pieces. I agree that those fluid bags look so real! I couldn't agr...

New BBI accessory packs, in hand.
I found some extra of the new BBI weapon/accessory packs. I have 3 of the MK-19 packs, and 3 of the Mortar packs. I am looking for: BBI USMC (old desert camo pattern) figures (there were 3 of them: Machine Gunner, Point Man, and I forgot the 3rd's name.) BBI Elite Force Army Assault Recon figure (ol...

dzirhan, In the future, a photo with your question might save some confusion. A bright orange refective triagle on a vehicle is used to signal slow-moving, or over-sized vehicles. A green or black V, or inverted V, was used during Operation Desert Storm to signify a coalition vehicle. (Seen in the p...

I just finished wrapping, and putting out presents for my wife, and little son. It has just turned Chistmas here, I'll finish up my eggnog, and head to bed soon, but having read some of your sentiments earlier I wanted to take a moment to respond. I appreciate being part this community that seems to...

Digger, you didn't make the custom 113 mentioned in this thread? Who did? I would love to see work-in-progress photos, and maybe some instruction on how it was done... Or maybe someone like Build-A-Rama could make an armor-upgrade kit? There are troops in the field without adequate protection. I wan...

I would love to see a Medium Tactical Vehicle, with a ring mounted crew served weapon (M-2, or MK-19). A stock photo: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/newwavedon/LMTV.gif Hopefully it could be tooled in such a way that the bed cover, and maybe cabin top could be removable...as in these SpecOps...

Iraq GunTrucks, and WW2 armor found in Iraq
You guys have got to check this site out. There are some great photos of homemade american gun trucks being used in Iraq today, and even a how to build a guntruck section. Also worth looking through are photos of WW2, and Iraqi armor found in Iraq. Here is the link: http://client.webshots.com/user/i...

Your soldiers are hungry, and dying of thirst! I want to see: 5 gallon fuel cans, 5 gallon water cans, water bottles (clear cast), gatorade bottles (clear, but color-tinted cast), MRE cases, MRE individual meals, a can of pringles chips (other snack food ideas?), more sizes of ammo cans. I think the...

In a case where one trader is a newbie, and the other experienced (or at least has a feedback), I would think it appropriate that the newbie should send first, and also appropriate that that package arrives before the experianced trader ships. Trust is the perk of experience. In the case of two expe...

BBI Super Hummer And Real World comparison shots.
I had a few photos of an SF style desert humvee that I thought might be of interest here. I plan to custom the BBI super to look like this real world humvee. The thing I'm really glad to see is the passenger side windshield weapon mount looks very authentic. I will likely drop the recoiless in order...

Hey Ferg, I had the same light strike vehicle/MK-19 idea. This is only a work in progress photo, I still need to cast the ammo and fuel cans for it, as well as a few other details I have planned. I could not fit the ammo can for the MK-19 on the buggy without raising the mount to the point of stupid...

I did break a peg pulling too hard on a BBI head once. Most come out easily, but if not don't break it. Use the old "boil and pop" method. Put the figure in boiling water for 2 or 3 minutes, the plastic will soften up and the head (or any other joint) will pop out much easier. Once out you can trim ...
