Go, NOW and look at the pictures!!!!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Hot-Toys-ALIENS-RIPLEY-Snap-Kits-predator-Full-Case_W0QQitemZ6060896404QQihZ009QQca...

There are new SS figures available at Small Joes. I figure if anything is worthy of a post in the 1:18 forum it is new 1:18 scale product. Enjoy or don't... Nice figures, good work and giving me some ideas. Also, just want to throw my voice out to Marauder John and his cool-ass weapons company. I still like BBI's guns more, but Marauder is way beyond 21st Century's 1:18 guns. He is making guns now that I would have loved to have had 10-15 years ago as a...

Steelbonnet, Damn fine work. I love the GPS/Satcomm antenna and have been wondering how I would make that part myself. I had been working on the same project (two of them) before my current deployment and now I'm all excited to get back to it. I was in a plumbing supply store once, in the Toilet par...

all 4 are exclusives? I thought it was just the spec ops guy (the guy with the beard) I thought SpecOps in the description of these figures implied all 4 of them. The bearded guy's package actually refers to him as Special Ops, and some here have been referring to him as DevGru (a member of the Nav...

Wow. Thats some detailed, time consuming work you've done there. I actually really like how BBI made thier pouches as separate pieces glued onto the figure; it was a big step away from the 3 3/4 gi joe sculpted on gear and added realism, but your cloth gear with actual opening pouches is amazing! Ni...

Also, Digger mentioned the arms being removable for customs. Those new paratrooper arms, heads, waist and legs (something might have to be done to conceal the straps on the legs), would look pretty good mounted on a previous BBI sculpt chest in order to give them body armor and a chest rig...

God, I hope to see some new weapons sets from BBI now! It looks to me that all four of these SpecOps guys primary weapons are new sculpts. The DevGru AK is for sure, as well as both sniper rifles (sweet, 2 guns with one guy!), the HK "9MM Sub-machine gun" that comes with the SEAL is a new sculpt; ni...

WTB: new BBI Modern SpecOps Figures

Heres the thing; I am writing you from somewhere in Iraq. I have another 6 to 8 months to go and would really love to get ahold of the new BBI modern figures. If anyone finds them at an online retailer (ebay, amazon whatever) please let me know, I'm willing to buy that way. Or if anyone finds extra ...

Thanks for the pictures Corey. Those look great and now I'm hoping to see both of thier weapons in new weapons packs, that M4 with the second para pictured looks beautifull!
BBI really has improved what I already thought was a great product!
I look forward to seeing pictures of the rest of the line!

Yep, it's Patton's head. Showed up in an Ebay lot, I wasn't even expecting it, but now it's one of my favorite customs. No Iraqis saw me staging these figures. The desert ones were taken clear the hell out in the desert and no one was around. The photo from the river though. There were some third co...

Modern Special Operations Gear Reference Page

Found a nice modern special operations reference page. See SpecwarGear.com . There are some in-the-field type photos but most I've seen before. The real gem is in the Gear and Equipment section where there are photos of individual pieces of gear sorted by type and use. The Survival Gear page is my f...

I also love to customize the weapons too, here are some pitures of those too. Alot of the M-4 add-on accessories came from PTE guns. I don't like thier guns because the plastic is soft, but love them for thier add-on details. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i286/MiniMil/Mil%20Customs/Weapons.jpg h...

Customs in Iraq

I will use this thread to show some newer customs, I am in Iraq now and will get some more 'in Iraq' photos of the few figures I have with me. Look for those within a week or so... For now I am going to start with some pictures of BBI figures in Iraq while on my first tour (2003-2004). On the bank o...

Does anyone else make casts of these types of parts? I made casts of a bunch of modern BBI pouches, canteens, ect for use on custom figures. I can't exactly share copies with anyone right now, since I'm still stuck in Iraq, but I could possibly trade off extras when I get home this fall... Someone e...
