Re: Ditto that
As with Fantasy Knives, Dungeons and Dragons, Fairies and Goblins, I can't quite get into that myself. Just never interested me. But as Ferg said, it would be huge. Obnoxiously Huge. The movie was cool though. I am not in to the fantasy stuff, but a 1:18 Mig 31 FireFox would be a great collectable ...

Well, I guess my standards are a little bit looser then others. The F-16 still looks right and when mine shows up will be most welcome next the the F-18. Then again I started modeling with Aurora's infamous Mig-19 that was actually a distorted Ta-183. Regards I agree. I cant wait for my F-16 to sho...

hmm....fantasy aircraft are not really my cup of tea but it may be a popular item. I've recently seen threads about it on both the rcgroups forum and the cardmodels.net forum. Trouble is it would be about 4 feet long in 1/18 scale...pretty big. However if you'd like a model that represents a real r...

What every modern day aviation collector would love to have
Imagine this if one of the companies that makes 1:18th scale aircraft could secure a licenses agreement for this aircraft they would not have any problems selling them, I know it would be huge but it would sell. Every aviation collector and Buff out their would have at least two of them, I call on a...

Something else I bought a Sideshow 1/4 scale terminator. As of 5 minutes ago, KB's spit is listed at 49.99, when I got mine ~2 months ago 2nd day Fedex was 10.99 to Alaska. Bad Cat shows 54.95 for theirs with shipping for comparable stuff during the same time period running 20-25 dollars for USPS priority. I wish could. I also bought 2 1/12 scale 1/12 Ta...

P.S. Military Toy Shop I don't even want to discuss for their spit. Their shipping has been running about 40% of total cost!! My last attempt was just 2 days ago when I decided to order one of the Humvee's. $15.99 for the model, $45.00 shipping UPS ground!! I didn't complete the order. $ 45 Shippin...

i would think a Mig 29 much more likely than an Su-27, for reasons of size. Many of the toy companies are balking at an F-14 and F-15 due to size reasons and the Flanker dwarfs both of them.. Plus, it ain't american. There is a nice foam r/c Flanker which is almost exactly 1/18 scale however. Lines...

The Mig is nice for sure, I'd be happy with one, but my personal preference would be for an Su-27 Flanker. To me, the Sukhoi just has a rakish deadly look to it, like a bird of prey....... even the name, "Flanker" evokes images of speed and agility..... http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1033272/L/...

Re: spitfire door
is it a pox or a frenzy? I had a frenzy and bought tons of planes. The 21C spitfire is very nice, I can't answer about the door, mine are still in boxes, I've seen a picture with the door down however. Concrete makes for better model pics :D DH I wanted t okeep all of them in the box and never open...

Re: BBI Corsair Diorama & Video
Thought I would have a little fun with my Corsair and the somewhat "tropical" look of my backyard and create a little Pacific Theater air field diorama, highlighting the Corsair starting up its engine. The pictures came out OK, though the muddy field does look a little rocky  I used a powerfu...
