Re: where is the external infantry telephone on the 21c M48?

In Full Metal Jaclet it was an M-41, not an M-48. The 21C M41 also includes the phone box where it's supposed to be.

I also picked up a few. They're just different enough fron the previous versions to be of interest.

Anyone want four bbi modern paratroopers, with chutes but missing all other accessories (no weapens, helmets, packs, etc.)? Free. Just cover the shipping once they get to you.

Please PM me if interested.

Re: What's the last 21st XD you saw at retail?

I think the last XD I saw in a retail store was either two or three years ago (can't remember for sure), December 2008 or 2009, at the KB Toys outlet store (which is no longer there) near Waterloo NY. They had a few of the American, Battle of the Bulge figures scattered among the shelves. I'm pretty...

Re: schleich war elephant released

Picked one up at my local TRU today. I opted for the basic elephant and rider (tempted to call him the driver!) and it was on sale for 29.99. It is quite nice, and may give my Romans a run for their money.

Re: Stowage/supplies Attachment

I once glued a bunch of stowage to a 21C M41 with white craft glue (Elmer's). Worked very well, and when I decided to remove the stowage I just soaked the tank in water overnight and it all came off. Then a little clean up with a damp cloth, and you'd never know the stowage had been there.

Soldier Force Jet Transport at Big Lots

When I was looking for PTE items at BL the other day, tbey had a bunch of Soldier Force jet transport sets on the shelves. Box said they are 18" long x 20" wingspan. Front flips up and there's a back ramp for loading / unloading. Comes with some little tanks. etc. No window on the box, so hard to te...

Re: 1/18 Pershing tank found (sort of)

If the shipping wasn't so steep I'd probably get an "Emulational M60" to see what it's like. But I just can't see paying more for shipping than for the actual item.

21C F-104 Question

I noticed that the rack (for lack of a better term) which holds the missiles has clear plastic ends at the rear, while the rest is painted. Are the clear ends supposed to be lights?

B17, I'd love to have the Soviet / Cold War pieces you mentioned, but I doubt we'll ever see those in 1/18. We're lucky that 21C put out some Vietnam items in 1/18. Wish they'd done even more with that line.
