Took a dora pilot and used him in the 262. His butt chute also make a good spacer to move him more vertical 'ala F-86.

True. Only the stuff you don't want will still be there the next time.
Ahh, you may have stated a truth. If it's not there, then that's what's wanted. :D

Hey, just had a thought. Sorry, but I'm sure it'll be worth 'bout what all my thoughts are worth. Even so, you are now subjected to it.

With the recent change in detail level, etc, is 21c diversifying? Will there now be a Wally World Grade and a Collectors Grade?

I'd take both the early in any markings (doolittle preferred) and the late in any configuration in any markings (any "monster" preferred).

The point is we have none now, so any is a big step in the right direction. Just bring us one, it'll sell. The same goes for the 'hog and many others.

Well, I'll get 21c's new 262. I'm real happy with Admiral's offering, but a new version is most welcome also. How many of us have several repaints of the same AC, or even dups of the same AC? Now we can get a "repaint" of a significant different version. I'm all for it.

Ouch, here at Fairbanks we've only had 6 inches of snow so far this year.

I'm think someone should make conversion kits for the 1:18s, like Verlinden makes for 1:35 models...so we can "fix" stuff on the planes. Since most of us, don't play with the toys but have them as static models, resin parts could be used, and like said earilier rubber tires to replace plastic. Good...

Well remember, that is a flight test aircraft and according to the caption that is a picture of a towed bomb test. There was some experimentation late in the war with the Me-262B-2a and a towed fule tank but I've only ever seen drawings of it. Ah, right, thanks for jogging what's left of my memory....

Your right, they do, guess I was going by location. I don't recall the name but your entirely right about the AA. They aren't the Walther RATO common to the time. They are most likely Borsig RI 502 rocket motors. These were carried by the ME262V10 flight test aircraft but I haven't found any other ...

yes you called it, right after i did......lol. I don't think those are RATO pods. Look like air to air rockets to me. Drop tanks a nice touch. I don't think the nightfighter carried bombs but they are a welcomed extra for sure. :) Your right, they do, guess I was going by location. I don't recall t...

What kind of paint scheme did these ME262 night fighters have? Were there variations on the schemes? limited for sure, as with anything not very much mass produced, but some for sure. IIRC schemes were usually grey/lt blue with mottling over the upper surfaces. Not many made, and very limited servi...

Just received my 262 from Badcat!!! Wow, Jason you folks are doing real good. If your need other conformation, just look at how the other's respond to what you've done. Look at the speculation with 21c's new anticipated release, they're responding to what you've accomplished. That is a very good sign.

Here it is on it's own, just the way it's suppose to be.

OK, works for me, as much as I'd like to see something to go along with the BBI Zodiak and PTE kayak, Wings and Armour are very much my favorite.
