Well, not knowing exactly which class it is and being lazy enough to not size it to a known dimension (wingspan of a known aircraft type), and rounding to keep everything within magnitude, I'm going with:

~25 FT length of model
~750 ft length of WWII BB
~scale of model would be 1/30

Aussie Red Roo 'Stang

With too many P-51's in hand, I'd thought to represent one of the more unusual schemes. While not 100% the decision was made to limit the chances to mess up the perfectly fine work BBI made to provide us with a P-51 of what is a modern warbird flying the circuits. The national markings and fin flash...

Not sure I'd seen any in the all black uniform. One of them looks like this guy, but from the text at the bottom it's a custom, read it you might get some better idea then my own quick lookover. He seems to have several figures he's made up from DML, BBI, 21c, and others also. http://mindxstorm.com/...

BBI made a modern Apache Pilot and 21c made a Vietnam era pilot. BBI's includes some nice modern stuff, but the helmet is unique to the Apache. 21c's helmet might be a good replacement. Both are OOP but can be found from time to time. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t223/chunks_album/bda4d7bb.jpg...

Some more from "Tales of the Cat". Only a happy customer, so please no 'cat bashing for this. Scroll down and you'll find unissued, preassembled, vendor display 21c 1/6 Hughes 500's in several paints. Freight will be horrendous.

They're a hobby shop that produces some of their own stuff now and then. I'd first heard of them back in the early '90's when they'd released the first of the Reichswehr '46 armour (a Maus) in 1/72. They also released a 1/6 PaK 38 IIRC in the late '90's plus several others. Their bread and butter ar...

I really like these, well worth waiting for. This announcement has me excited for 1/18 again.

In the meantime. Some vintage footage.

Some from the MD sale, some 1/6 stuff, but not much. Other then that I've been looking for a 1/144 (N gauge?) BR52 locomotive for an armoured train display for about a year now. Don't even know if such a thing exists. Keeps life simple though.

Looking for Korean War era Australian decals

Has anyone run into a source for 1/18 scale Korean War era Australian decals, roundel and fin flash, suitable for BBI's Australian "Shark Mouth" P-51. From the few photo's I've found, these would be about 90+% to make this a post WWII 'stang.
