Is the Warthog to-scale? Any of you scale nuts have a guess on that, or is it a big no? Not sure how big the plane is in real life myself to eyeball that and guess.

Not even close. One engine on the A-10 is about equal to the fromt end of the Corsair. No wonder it is not something the companies will jump right into..

Thanks Dig.

I'm not a modern fan so I had no idea A10's were that large... Wowza. I tell you though, if I was a GI Joe nut right now I'd be going apeshit at the sight of that plane. I may still nab one for a SW custom even, it's a great looking toy that's sure to be inexpensive...

The way PTE does stuff, I'm shocked they just don't do things to-scale and charge a little more.

Regardless though it's a great toy... I'd love a squad of those back when I was a kid to fly alongside the Rattler as Wild Weasel's wingmen. That would've been great as a kid. :)

THANK YOU, for the pics, Razor!! Great looking stuff! Looks like PTE improved on one of their pilots too!!! Scale or not, I'll be buying a few of these!! Besides, out of all my friends who come over, I'll be the only one who'll know it's NOT to scale! :D

it looks better than i thought it would but it's probably around 1/24-ish scale....definitely much smaller than 1/18, as digger said.

I admit it does look better than I expected too. And as JJ said anyone who prefers "Joe" scale should be very pleased with product and price.

And Holensock, I think that is our first modern ground crew, which is pretty cool.

Accurate 1/18 scale or not (defintiely not), it does look pretty good and is by far the closest we have gotten outside of the foam RC market... I'm all over that one, if it ever shows up around here (or if I can find a helpful board member to track one down for me). Looks like I will need to start adding Big Lots to my recon patrol route.

it will probably run around $20-$30 bucks...maybe....so it is not bad for the money but it is defenitely not to scale but it sure looks better than the bbi elite command attempt.

Those sets would have been sweet in my sandbox back in the days! Especially the bridge and watchtower.
