To get back on track with the planes and tanks in our collections, here's a few shots I've taken over the past couple years. These were more diorama photos than a documentary of my collection. Enjoy :D

Mind you, the planes, tanks, and soldiers pictured above are only a small part of my collection. The first photo was a 21c diorama contest winner

I like your dioramas as well tman. The bunkeresque setting is cool as well, Studly.

I just realized that by looking at the pics in my collection, I need to do some dusting off. As you can see, I am not much of a believer of keeping 1:18 in package. They are too cool for displaying. I still have the AT Me-262, AT F-86, and 21C Panzer IV Ausf. H Short Barrel packed away until I can manage more space.

Side Note:
My AT F-86 Jolly Roger fell off of the shelf where the Huff currently is. The main wing with landing gear broke to my dismay. I emailed AT a few days ago, and they are currently sending me via UPS a free wing with landing gear. What great service.

Also, I can't believe the abundance of 21C Farm Houses and Haylofts that were on clearence at TRU for mere pennies (under 7 dollars), that I have passed on back in 2002 and 2003. I do not have any of them and regret that I passed them up. I just wanted the vehichles and figs back then.

This is the one that started it all. I think my son knew just what he was doing when he gave me this Corsair several years ago. Now the planes are crowding my vintage '50's and '60's Nascar racers. The Corsair now has a Spitfire, Me109, Fw190, Sabre, Mig and a couple of P-51s to go with it.

I've enjoyed setting up photos with them almost as much as the photos I've done with the cars. And it's a lot easier to open the box and put on the flying surfaces than the research, scratchbuilding and hand lettering that the old time stockers need.

Studly, it seems highly doubtful for 21C to send a replacement. I know that I have written them many times in the past. I think that super glue, metal pins, a drill, hand saw, screwdriver, knife, sand paperand and paint are a requirement when handling and fixing the 21C stuff. I wonder if any board member here has had any luck with them to date?

I did once get a replacement part for the pilot's sliding canopy for the "Flight 19" Avenger from 21c - only, they sent me the left side piece (I'd requested the right) and it was gray instead of blue. At least they sent something :)

However, in my transaction, I had Matt at BadCatAviation to vouch for me and forward my claim as the piece in question arrived broken before it was taken out of the box. Badcat, I'm sure, carried more weight than if I'd called on my own.

Further, Migs are rather common - as far as 21c would be concerned - as there's plenty of examples still to be had at Wal Mart, the small retailers and e-bay. 21c knows this and could just dismiss your claim hoping you'll buy another  That was sort of the response I got when I enquired about obtaining screw caps for my "Atlantic" Avenger. Still, that does not mean you shouldn't give them a call or send an e-mail. They may pull through afterall
