Nice, I really like the "Atlantic" version. I would love to see one in a British paint scheme also. Looks like a beautiful model. :D

Anyone know if the Avenger will be at walmart? Which one?
Which Paint to do like the best? My favorite is Atlantic one

Great news, thats this year right?
I'll go with the Atlantic version and the Bunker Hill for my Father inlaw. His Avenger flew from the Hornet, I my have to do a repaint. 8)

my trick knee is telling me it's for real this time, so i made this thread a sticky {knock on wood}.

Price is good...better than expected. All three versions look good and i'm sure there'll be plenty more to come! A Battle of Midway version is a must some day...

HOT DAMN!! The best news in 1:18 since, well, ever! This looks authentic. Now the question comes as to which plane I want to order. All three look great and I'm glad to see them coming with repaints in such close succession. I'm tied between either the Flight 19 or the Bunker Hill Avenger.

This will be the last 1:18 plane I plan to get - besides the Mig-15 and ME-262 - and I'm only getting one, so I have to make it count...

Whoa T-man, don't make definitive statements like that.. :P

The price is excellent - cheaper than the P-38. I wonder what they will be at WM...whatever that PP and box size is should be interesting for future consideration. :D

Never say never Tman... ;)

I'm guessing 54.99 at WM...if the new box size does well could mean a chance at more larger planes in future. :D

Military toy shop had Avenger preorder buttons for 2 paint schemes for months now.

I preordered 2 atlantics on Jan 02 2006.

They must have changed the original George Bush scheme to the bunker hill scheme

now where's that Douglas Devastor?

Bunker Hill scheme is a BCT exclusive.....George Bush version will still be a go, i have little doubt.

I believe it was confirmed by TKO that the Avenger will be at WM..

Once again Badcat brings us news first! (of course they do have a monetary interest to keep us informed) . I love the bunker hill and lost squadron versions most, but may have to preorder the atlantic version just to finally have one in May!

Yea, I had to order the Atlantic Scheme as well, but I like it well enough. The Bunker Hill Avenger is a great idea, now I wish I had the Bunker Hill Corsair.

the Atalantic Avenger is a pretty significant aircraft. Avenger's sank more uboats than any other aircraft except the B-24 and they sank more than sunderlands, catalinas & hudsons combined.

"I believe it was confirmed by TKO that the Avenger will be at WM.."

Do you know which one?

I hope it is the Atlantic one

Also, if I do not pre-order, are all hopes lost for getting an Atlantic Avenger?

Thank you

Just ordered a Flight 19 Avenger, as that was one of my favorites of the three schemes - I also like the "generic" look of the plane and the dark sea blue. I'm going to sit on it for a while. I'll give BCA a ring if I decide to switch to the Bunker Hill version
