1/18 Scale US 37mm Anti-Tank Gun M3 (Grunt1’s kit)

Post by tmanthegreat » Sun May 10, 2020 9:36 am

A while back I purchased Grunt1’s 3D printed kit of the US 37mm Gun M3 from his Battleground Toys shop. I finally got around to building it this past weekend and it made for a nice quick project.

Grunt1’s M3 is a fantastic little kit which required very little preparation before painting and and was easy to assemble. Excellent detail is found throughout and I really liked the inclusion of the 37mm rounds and spent shell casing. My hats off to Grunt1 for finally making a proper piece of Allied artillery in 1/18th scale!

Here’s a few more pictures... Enjoy :D

You made that 37mm look like a prize winner with that dio and figure arrangement! I need one on my shelf!

Great job on that tman! If only the figures were as realistic. Those robot arms and legs! UGH!

Axis, I completely agree with your assessment of those clunky joints with the old 21st figures! The new Marauder WWII figures are much better, but still have visible joints.

Razor, the dioramas in the background are old 1/32 Forces of Valor diorama sets that I’ve got some 1/30 scale King and Country soldiers and tanks displayed in. Here’s a photo of the larger diorama with the K&C M4E8 Sherman Tank, Fury.

Grunt1, you still making this kit? I tried contacting you, and it seems like you responded back, but it says I am not authorized to read your message while it is on "hold"? Never seen that yet on here.

I would like to get one of these M3s.

Let me know, and thank you

Yes, here is the link to the model in the store:

As for the on-hold message. That typically means your mailbox is full so you have to delete a message to make room to release the on hold message.
