1/18 Sherman Question

Post by Axis Nightmare » Wed Apr 15, 2020 2:03 pm

I have several 1/18 Shermans including a BBi. I acquired all of them loose. None have tow cables. They have channels for them to snap into but no cables. German tanks in 1/18 have tow cables included. Are they missing off my Shermans or did none of them come with them?

Axis, the 21st, BBI, and Bravo Team 1/18 Shermans did not come with tow cables, so you’re not missing anything. Some of the 21st German tanks did have the cables (like the Panther and Tiger) but not the Shermans. That would be great if Picklehaube made some cables 8)

Seemed German vehicles got the most detail attention for some reason. The Shermans didn't have shackles either. Just a kinda stub where those would have been attached. Those would help too.

I made towing shackles for the various 1/16th tanks from Heng Long, Tamiya, Taigen, etc.. They've been pretty popular.

I also scaled them down for BBI, 21C and FoV. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Can you make them in 1/18 scale ?

Does anybody have specs on the cable ends ?
The cable I got in the mail ( 1/32 scale ) looks way off
