Post by gliderdwm » Sat Mar 16, 2019 10:13 am

Anybody know where i might get the glamarous glennis decal for the Yeager X1 - Bell aircraft.
i picked up one loose , the complete version and its without that one of course due to the Yeager copyright thing. Found one on ebay and its from Australia at 28.00.
May have to get it.

Years ago, board member Jackson made a custom “Glamorous Glennis” decal, but he is unfortunately out of the decal business and hasn’t been around here in quite some time... Your Australian option may be the best route. 11-12 years ago, when the Pegasus X-1 Kit was first released, they included the said decal. I was lucky enough to have gotten an early kit, so my plane has the decal  It was funny as later editions of the kit literally had the GG markings blacked out with a sharpie on the box at the factory

Me too! His decals were simply the best and he could make you any custom design and do it quickly... While I have found other custom decal sources since Jackson’s departure, none are as good as what he offered!

BTW, here’s a couple pics of my Pegasus X-1 kit (with nose art decal) that I completed about 9 years ago:
