Axis says
We can still hold out hope but it's mid July and we haven't heard anything about pre-orders or anything period for that matter. No promotions, no "coming soon", not even a teaser. The silence continues to be deafening. [/quote]
Who wants a Butcher Bird when they can have a Crocodile ?
I am hoping to release either Christmas or before .
Please cross fingers AND toes .

One of these days Pickel is going to make a Do 335.
I don't know if I'd celebrate or weep for my wallet.

Why make the gun bay open when there is nothing to see underneath? It's not just a bunch of open space under the guns.

And there's not two giant Phillips head screws either.[CAT]CplSlade wrote:Why make the gun bay open when there is nothing to see underneath? It's not just a bunch of open space under the guns.
The first opportunity for a mod to add detail!

Where and how to get in USA? Isn't it odd it gets to German dealers first?

Thanks Normandy...I had looked up the conversion, was just hoping it would be a little cheaper here in the US. Still cheaper than the Harrier though.....

Re: 1/18 FW 190A - BACK OPEN
Did high profile aces' ground crews allow their planes to get that ratty looking? Would think they would be charged with keeping them looking better - touching up paint and cleaning up after missions for propaganda photos if nothing else. They did a good job maintaining and adding to rudder score boards. I don't know, just asking.

Re: 1/18 FW 190A - BACK OPEN
I haven't really seen any examples with chips all over like that; mostly along access panels and the walkways on the wings. This seems a bit too random as someone said, "Make it look weathered" without thinking about how planes actually get weathered.

Re: 1/18 FW 190A - BACK OPEN
The eagles have landed. The cases with Fw´s for me and several collecting and modelling friends arrived on saturday.
Great model with real nice details (all the rivets!!) but some small issues too.
The chinese guys printed instead of "nur hier betreten" (which means " only step in this area") a text with no sense "Nu hier befreton"
The main landing gear in flight situation fits not perfect in the underwing. But thats all.
I love it hope for other schemes.
Try to send some pics soon.
