I have been working on the Hind all week long and may get a chance to put some pics up this weekend. Next week I need to make fix the fender on the 251 mod and make the molds and get caught up on some past orders.

I have the main fuselage roughed in along with the tail boom and wing stubs.

She is a big beast :D :D :D

Tall and narrow.

I need to work a half day today on my real job so pics may be delayed.

I have the back half of the turtle deck mounted and am working on the front. I also need to mounted the wing stubs and rear stabilizer.

Shapeways material is VERY BRITTEL . when I do make the main rotor blades I doubt if the plastic will take the wait of the blades and will snap off even during mock up pics .

I will address that when the time comes.

I just wish I had taken a few in process pics as I went along but focus was the main thing and I did not want to be distracted.

Jay was a life savor on this project . He shaved days or maybe even months off of the hands on build.

So far today marks 6- 1/2 days I have worked on this to make the fuse and other parts match up.

She is kinda acting like a tail dragger. I hope not but there are places to add weight if needed .

That thing is seriously bad ass!! I'm definitely in for one if I can get a full build, and someone to paint it. That part of my brain is non-functional to put it lightly.

Holy moly, that is amazing. I have always had an interest in the Soviet War in Afghanistan, and this is a dream come true. I'll see if I can whip up some funds for this...

Thanks guys .

As far as full builds go they are always a pain.

But I do offer the service usually it is twice the price of the kit.

You pre sell guys ( if wanted ) I would add the price of the production run to your discount .
