1/18 A6M2-N Rufe

Post by vmf214 » Tue Aug 28, 2012 11:47 am

I started making these back in 2008, have sold nothing but completed planes in every livery imaginable to date but am currently drawing up new floats and ancillary pieces via CAD and plan to do them on a 3D printer. I'm shooting to have a complete modification kit to turn the standard BBi A6M2 to a Rufe and hope to have a price point around the $150 mark. All the prospective buyer will have to do is drill some holes, fare over the gear, chop out the headrest, cut the tail cone off for the new rudder, etc. If anyone is interested then drop me a pm.

Here's some of my Rufe's with cast resin mod parts:

Brilliant...I have all four BBI Zeros, and would love to convert one (have it converted, I mean), to a Rufe...

They all look great, VMF214.

Sounds like a few would be interested in the Rufe conversion.
