Visited my local BG yesterday and the stock is getting pretty low. A few of the very small sets (picked up a camel for my desert diorama), towers, and a few amphibious vehicles were all that was available. My hope for more before Christmas is dwindling with the stock.

At Crusader Trading here in Canberra Australia they have a BBI desert ME109 and a Konoika green Zero in 1/18 scale. On display in 1/18 they have a Michaelski 190, first issue Big Beautiful Doll and the Australian P51. They are also selling some 1/32 XD.

I didn't realise that it was for Power Team Elite, for some reason I had it in my head it was for 1/18 sightings - I am new to all this, sorry once again.

So I found a new retail source for PTE yesterday - a ToyZam! toystore at my local mall. I had never heard of them before, but apparently there's quite a few out there (see link http://www.toyzam.com/storeLoctions.html).

They had a variety of figure 3-packs, some small single figure packs (motorcyle, camp site, etc.), humvees, DPV, Chinese APC, and the new wall/trench set, and the "Rocket Helicopter" - with rockets finally :).

Prices were pretty comparable to Big Lots and JCPenney.com.

Found the jeep with trailer yesterday in Decatur. Reminds me of the old M151 w/ trailer I drove back in my first days in the Army. Even has the 524 radio! Not bad at all ;-)

Still cant find the ARH helicopter :-(

We had Stinger missile racks in the back. The rack held the stingers in their cases. Any old 16Ps out there ;-)

Dammit, I cannot find this jeep! Hopefully my local BL will get a few in. I don't want to order it just in case someone got it for me for Christmas.

It's a great jeep too. Most of the BL stores in my town had them.
I'm using it for a Willy but realize it's a Mutt.

For those of you who live in Canada. You'll be happy to know that Big Lots has now taken over Liquidation World. They also have a nice collection of PTE vehicles and playsets available.

You also may still able to find some at Hart Stores too.

Good news for the frosties. :) PTE is an obsession Aferg, pace yourself!

I put my extra bunker I got for Xmas with my first one, in an "L" formation, and it is insane. I have Sandtroopers in it, but it really would work well for a lot of display purposes. Best PTE item of 2012 IMO. Would love to see it released in a more useful grey as a single set.

Came upon this Chinese PTE APC being released this year.

Image

It translate to the Snow Leopard Commando and goes on to to say it's based on the Chinese Anti Terrorism forces.

Has a cool new turret on it, hope it comes over here. Just needs a new coat of paint.
Same with the PLA figures, they're so much better than the ones in the English versions.

Finally snagged a Jeep/Mutt at Big Lots today. The PTE section is very small now and stocked mostly with fast attack vehicles, one Chicom tank, and a few tan towers. I luckily noticed a jeep on the top shelf behind a big Tonka dumptruck. I had to get a guy with a ladder to get it down. Look at all the boxes closely, and be sure to check the top shelf! I almost left empty handed!

Unfortunately, no bunkers. :(
