I posted this in the Customs section but thought it might get more exposure in the small scale section.
I repainted the last Hobby Master 1/48 fw190F-8 I had in my favorite scheme. This is "Yellow 14" (W.Nr.584592) Thought to be with SG2 or SG10 with the only known photos of this plane taken when it was on top of a scrap heap waiting to be broken up.
This scheme represents a VERY late war F-8 with different component colors coming from this plane being assembled with parts from different factories. The upper surfaces also showed patches of repair repainted in primer only.
I still have some small bits to add and some minor detailing to do but for the most part it is complete.

Great repaint as usual, Harry.
VERY late war indeed, where they weren't even worried about proper paint, or anything. Slap it together, and try to get it in the air.
An unusual take on this one, but works very well, IMO.
