If they announce a B-24 next I think my brain will explode.

It's really not that much bigger than the biggest 1:18 single engine airplane If you look at the guy holding it. I'd like to see it next to a 1:32 fighter though.

Someone should have gotten a clue and done one a long time ago. 21st almost did.

If successful which I think it will be, we'll probably see that B-24, maybe a Lancaster hopefully.

That's not too bad. A 21stC Stuka 1:18 is 30 inches. I imagine a 1:18 TBF Avenger is more, and an F-14 Tomcat when extended is even more.

I dunno, all my 1:18 planes other than the Stuka and a Flying Tiger P-40 are in the garage, while I've got quite a few 1:32 fighters hanging from the ceiling and on some shelves.

I can't wait to hang one of these Flying Fortresses up and have it being harassed by a hornet's nest of 21st German fighters and a few Mustangs and Thunderbolts trying to protect it. That would be something to see no?. 8)

That B-17G looks very nice, with good detail.

For the 1/18 crowd, it's not that huge. But can only imagine what the 1/32 and smaller, modelers think. Probably

Would love to see one of these done by a good modeler.

This is a must have for me. I really love the B-17 series of bombers. I collect in 3 scales and this would be the King of the air for my 1/32 airforce. Can't wait for it to be made. :D

So, I wonder what kind of schemes or possible variants we'll see?
I prefer getting the "G" model shown, but it sure would be nice to get the earlier E model too.

Maybe the offbeat "Old Number 666" from "Dogfights" that fought off 17 Zeroes with all it's gun modifications would be totally cool. http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=55267

it's confirmed Wingscale will be doing a Gloster Meteor in 1:32 http://www.wingscale.nl/offLine.php

Scuttlebutt says they are working on a couple more twin engines, the P-61 Black Widow, and the B-26 Marauder.

Pretty cool but would like an assembled and painted one. I know that sounds wimpy, but just don't have the time anymore and want it to look good.
