New McFarlane WW II at TRU.
I noticed that there were 4 new 6 inch McFarlane WW II figures called Call of Duty on the TRU internet site. Hadn't seen anywhere that these were out. Looks like 3 U.S. Marines and a British special op. Bigger than 1/18 but nice WW II figures.

Thanks for the headsup on these figures. For anyone interested in seeing pictures of them here is a link to that section of the McFarlane website:

This isn't a scale that I'm particularly interested in but for statue type figures McFarlane makes some incredible looking stuff. Even though I don't collect them I still have a few select figures from different series that I just had to have when I saw them. Since they're doing CoD hopefully they will do some Axis figures. I particularly like the marine with the flame thrower from this series. If they ever show up at the KB outlet like a lot of their other figures have for around $6 I'll definitely get some. It's unlikely that they will ever produce 1/18 versions of these figures but there is always the chance that a select few will have 12" versions produced as they've done with some figures in the past. I've seen some great looking custom 1/6 figures using headsculpts and other bits from those figures.

Seen em at TRu. Definately super looking figs. Almost bought all 3 of the marines. Think I'll wait until I see where this line goes. Too bad you can't find any armor in this scale. The figures also articulate at the shoulders and head somewhat. Now if they would only do ACW or ARW in this scale I'd buy a bunch.

I saw the marine with tommy gun today, only the tommygun was painted gold/copper unlike the others. Maybe this is an unnanounced contest where ya buy this one and win a million dollars.... but, I left it there anyway...

Thats the chase figure, like a Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt. I have seen the Marine with the Thompson and the British Commando with them.mikeg wrote:I saw the marine with tommy gun today, only the tommygun was painted gold/copper unlike the others. oh, what the hell, I'll play- who's got a closet full of emmitt figures? who cares? again. I forget sometimes that I'm hanging out at a toy site. I dont see how I can have an immense collection of 21st, admiral, and bbi stuff and see other items as being total nonsense. I sell the hell out of auto parts at a dealership, am capped at 40hrs per week, make a few dollars less each week it seems, loose almost a couple of hundred dollars a week on family health insurance, eat lunch with my parents once a week-ask for 20-30 bucks for effing gasoline, cant afford a effing 88 gun- or any 45.00 AC offering I see, much less something at a website, I dont have a dog or cat to understand, hell, I look at the preacher every sunday like the effing RCA dog staring at the turntable. my kids are in dire need of corporal punishment, my awfully fine wife has forgotten what sex is, I' sure theres more--but I still dont give a rats ass about some moronic football player figure or another with a gay ass gold tommy gun- hey alloyskull (for example)- do ya think your any crazier than any middle aged dufus around here? I'm not happy tonight. sh t.

So you wouldn't give a rats ass if you happen to have one in your hand and somebody was going to give you six bills for it? Well, yea, turning up your nose at $600 is definitely what I call not giving a rats ass. Well I don't have a job and I can assure I give a rats ass about anything that I paid $9 for and I could get $600 for it. But hey, thats just me.mikeg wrote:oh, what the hell, I'll play- who's got a closet full of emmitt figures? who cares? again. I forget sometimes that I'm hanging out at a toy site.
