BBI 1/18th scale BF-109G
The Badcat site has some pictures of the new BBI 18th scale BF-109G. It has awesome engine detail, and looks like a beauty!

Now that is what I am talking about,,,they should have done that with the their hellcat and more.
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Very impressive. And they remembered the sand filter on the air intake!! And the antenna wiring!!!! If the production versions have the same level of detail in weathering and exhaust residue, it will be considered one of the best.
I wonder if this version will be another r-1 variant (under wing cannon)? I hope not. They were not as common as the standard variant.

Guys I have to admit that when I first saw that headline on the badcat newsletter the first thought thru my tiny mind was "BBI is insane" releasing a 109 with all of 21c variants and paintjobs but when I went to the badcat website and saw the photos of the engine I quickly said "I stand corrected" This is definately a must have.

Engine and even better, the pilot look fantastic. Hopefully they will sell the pilot alone too like they did for the hellcat so I can swap out all of my 21C "bug-eye" pilots..
Guess I don't need to finish my project now...

The 109 is a nice piece, but considering that BBI probably won't do another desert variation, was it really too much to ask that they do a "Yellow 14" Hans Joachim Marseilles? He was the top ace in the desert Luftwaffe at the time before his death and known as the "Star of Afrika"
