Tony? Funny, it don't look Italian...
It's kind of amusing that 21CT was misinformed of the shipment status (ain't the first time)...perhaps it's so close after the Chinese New Year that out of habit their Asiatic suppliers are dating the invoices with Year of the Dog instead of Year of the Rat...

I think it is a better possibility that the Green Tony was the plane he was talking about and didn't realize the silver one was out..c44 wrote:It's kind of amusing that 21CT was misinformed of the shipment status (ain't the first time)...perhaps it's so close after the Chinese New Year that out of habit their Asiatic suppliers are dating the invoices with Year of the Dog instead of Year of the Rat...

I am telling you, 21C is playing dirty and sucking us into another scale by releasing this in 1/48th. Then we will have to get everything else that goes with it. This is guerrilla manufacturing at it's worst. I am not going to stand for it! The moment I see this new Tony I am going to.......buy it.

Well, I will buy some as these go great with my 1/48 Hobbymaster, Marushin and Eagles Int'l A/C..Rowsdower wrote:Sorry, not buying any 1:48 crap. If I want 1:48 I'll go to the hobby store where I have about 500 kits to choose from. It would look nice in 1:32 however.
I'm not being a funny when I say the 1:48 aircraft and armor rot on the shelves in my AO.

I seriously considered buying 1:48 Me-109Ks, but thought hard, standing in the Wally aisle for about 15 minutes, I realized it would lead to rationalization for buying 1:48 armor, and planes of all kinds. No way I'm opening that floodgate. I have a 1:48 Whirbelwind. Because I missed the 1:32 one, and it was on clearance, and Whirbs are awesome.
I pray for this in 1:32, as well as the Hellcat. The 109K too. I could go on and on, but I won't because it will be one of those topics that never ends, where we all list what planes we want to see, and end up listing left field subjects for obsession's sake, and then complain why we don't have any oddball planes...
