New BBI Figures / Vehicle (Large Photos)
I received a CD from Mike at BBI today with a ton of product photos for the SSHQ database. The majority were older, but there were some hidden treasures that Mike has allowed me to share..
The pictures in the actual database are MUCH larger. http://www.sshqdb.com
I believe each of these is a new discovery:

Thanks for sharing Grunt!!
Hope we see the two new figures and Humvee scheme along with the other new yet to be released figures.
The two weapons sets were the last ones released about a year ago. They went fast and were hard to find. Hope they release them again though.
Go Ugly Early in 1/18!!
Still waiting and wishing for a 1/18 A-10 Warthog.

Thanks BD, I never saw those sets and would have loved to get the 1st one pictured. Interesting weapons..
Also on the disk were some fantastic shots of some of the figures we had sneak peeks at from Toy Fair..
Again, there are much larger images of these now in the SSHQ database (thanks Mike!) http://www.sshqdb.com

Outstanding pictures... Hope we see all these soon, and the red devil had better be followed up by some post-jump RD's because I'm getting anxious for SOME kind of variety in World War 2.
I love the US para too, never saw him before that I could recall. Very cool and somewhat obscure guy.
The weapons packs are, at the very least, interesting. Looks like the US military might be gearing up to fight aliens in the near future. Some of those look distinctly like "Colonial Marines" firearms, haha.
BBI never ceases to amazeme in terms of quality though. I love 21st, but I really feel that both companies give each other a run for their money. BBI is slow to put out new stuff, but when they do it's damn nice stuff. I just hope all those figures have poseable wrists, as some of the last batch did not... That was my only disappointment in them.

mother of...
UNREAL. Those are - by far - the coolest damn 1:18 figures ever. Holy...
As for the weapons - they have come out (albeit briefly) and are all real weapons. The future is now. Some of those programs have been canceled, but they are not fantasy guns.

I think the 25th Joes are going to get a whole lot better as time goes by. It was noted that Hasbro knows the defficiencies and there were signs at Comic Con that they are working to correct them. Can't wait to see where they go too.....Morian Miner wrote:Considering how disappointed I am in the 25th anniversary Joes, I have plenty of money waiting to be spent on these guys
This bbi stuff is outstanding looking though....

AND what I like about bbi, is that their 1/18 figures can actually SIT in their 'armoured' vehicles!!!aferguson wrote:i'm sure bbi has learned, as 21c did, that 1/18 figures are very popular sellers. And hopefully this will lead, as it did with 21c, to new armoured vehicles being produced to complement the figures....cough, AAVP7A1, cough....

CD specificially says 1:18.
There are some other images on the disk that lead me to believe that BBI might do a static (non-articulated) model first and then creates the articulated master for production.
Or..
They could be double-dipping for both scales.
Or..
Doing a master sculpt first, exposing it to buyers and determining later whether it will show up as a static 6" or articulated 1:18 figure later based on buyer input...
Of note is that the model # for the articulated(21718) 1:18 sniper image is not the same as the non-articulated(21491) one in each case.
As an example:
21718
21491
21716
21489
21487
21715

Those 6 inch guys came out already. They were pretty bad, and did not represent any of the guys you see there.aferguson wrote:not to put a damper on things but wasn't BBI coming out with a 6 inch figure line, a la McFarlane Soldiers? Some of those figures look like they could be 6 inch (ie 1/12 scale) rather than 1/18 to me.
Grunt: were there any scales mentioned on the cd?
Interesting theories grunt - I think the mock-up is likely right.
new stuff
Sorry for the double but I just remembered the Humvee with armored shield and .50 Cal they showed a while back. No chance that was on the disc?
