1969 Charger Daytona Mod..

Post by tracer » Fri Dec 29, 2006 5:57 am

I collect 1:18 diecast cars and have over 500 of them.
For quite some time now, I've been wanting a Joe Dirt Daytona. I've seen a couple of people's versions and they just lacked what I wanted (not to mention availability.)

Then over 2 years ago, I contacted Todd at Junkyard Jewels. He said he had wanted to do one but never got around to it, and he would be glad to give it a shot. Todd and I have had several phone conversations about it and numerous emails about details and build shots while crafting it.

I got an email on the 18th telling me it was finished. The build can be seen here.
I supplied Todd a black Daytona with the red wing , 1968 Charger chassis with a 440 powertrain , set of Cragars, and an Ertl 1969 Daytona box

Just thought I'd share with you guys.
Have a great Holiday

Neat! Thanks for sharing.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
