I'll post a couple reference pics that I left out.

I found these for the sleeper car.

This first one is a restored sleeper car.

My Buddy L cars are only 22" long. That comes out to about 33' in 1:1 scale. I believe the diagram above is for a 50' to 60' sleeper car. I didn't have room for the sinks and toilet at each end.

Older Pullman car.

Kevin.
Kevrut,
In Covington, KY they have a Troop Sleeper car.
Went to see it on Wed., but could not see the inside of it.
Most of these Troop Sleeper cars were converted after the war.
The non-profit group that has this and many "one of kind" train cars are trying to restore them, but most are not even being worked on or open to the public.

Thanks V2,
I've taken a few months off of making any new customs. But I'm working on my next project right now. (It'll be another month or so before I'm done.)

This is something I had been wanting to do for a long time. It's not military related, but it goes with my railroad. I originally planned on making a shelf to display my 1/18 Mopars, but came across a pic of this open frame auto hauler on Google and decided to make a model of it instead.

It's 48.5" long and 12.25" tall.

Thanks for looking.

Intresting Kevin 8)
Awhile back I made the first of a small group of 2 level autoracks. Mine also had 1960s Mopars. I had found some snap together 1965 Corenet 500s. They are 1/24th scale and looked ok on my 1/29th~1/26th scale autorack. Here was a picture of it.

Image

It still needed the TrailerTrain decals, but it's the only picture I could find in my webspace.

When you say 22" on your cars, would these be the 50 foot ones in 1/29th ???

So far I have been just playin' with the 1/22nd scale LGB working on a German armourment train for the front. I have a few pictures, but lately in the last couple months I have had little to no time to work with it :(

More later,

Da General

That's a cool autorack Blasto, I've never seen that one before.

22" would be about 53' in 1/29th. They make 20'' and 22" flatcars.

I think "Jackson" here on the forum could make you the decals you need.

Post some more of your pics some time.

Thanks, Kevin.

Actually it is 2 USA Trains Autoracks spliced together :)
I took ever other vertical support out to make it look correct. The car is actually a little short of the prototype in scale, but I do like it and it will go around R4 (10 foot diameter) curves.

I've started a bridge for my railroad. I made it out of a 1"X 10"X 8' and some decking spindles.

It's only 8' long so far. I've got another 12' or so to go. I haven't decided how I'll do the rest of it yet. I'm thinking maybe a lift bridge section.
Thanks for looking.
