SEAL team with boats.

Post by steelbonnet » Wed Mar 15, 2006 5:20 am

Here we have a little LBC custom lot.
They were intitially only taken due to the fact on JC someone wanted to see photos of both PTE PBRs.

All the divers are PTE though are using equipment from PTE,BBI,INTOYZ & Action Force. Also a couple of the goggles are actually carved from the Chap Mei divers head & added elastic strap for better fitting.

Both Boats are PTE PBRs (One Marine, one SEALs).
The preservers the pilots are wearing one is Chap mei (plastic) the other is from a Toyline called "pets Hospital" (kambei & any other Brits will know this line) & that preserver is cloth (padded) with velcro fasterner around the neck.

First off Team Dive Leader with Dive gear ready (Rebreather BBI,Flippers Intoyz,Goggles Intoyz around arm, compass board Intoyz).

I like this one :D
I say the SEAL divers are actually the best PTE figures - the awesome articulation allows them all the sorts of positions in and out of water, and being all black the camo is not a distraction.
SB, did you ever get your hands on the bbi assault boat? HTF but a great piece for low profile water manuevers. 8)
Keep up the good work.

Thank`s guys,much appreciated :D

Digger,
Must admit i`m with you on the PTE Divers being there BEST & also the BEST 1/18th diver figures Out there too.
Only down part with them is they didn`t provide full dive gear with the figures, more you got bits with each.

Plus the PTE divers have the greatest option of head sculpts too out of all styles. Mask face,Mask & Goggles,Mask & Goggles & NVG,No mask Bald,No mask Hair so that`s 5 heads. None of the other PTE lines have that sort of selection.

Still thank`s too BBI & Intoyz there`s extra gear for these Wonderfull figures :D & if wanting the classic 2 tank BA on the back, well the old Action Force diver tanks fit that bill very well & fit the figures perfectly :D

As for the BBI Boat, alas NO I don`t have one of those but always watching out for one :D That one does look really nice but as hard if not harder to find than the PTE PBRs.

MG-42,
Thank`s mate was nice to put these guys together for the shots. I`ve got a SEAL team I`m working on to add a few more divers but Individual customs just to make them slightly different :D

Again thank`s guys :D

I've been waiting to see the heads of those figures up close. I'll be placing an order now, for sure.

Well worth getting mate :D
Though if wanting/needing the dive gear too,I`d go for the SEAL with Canoe (as he comes with a FULL set of Dive gear). Whilst the individual packed figures, well alas you get a few sets buy Buying all 6 versions & multis of each :( That`s the one thing I wasn`t happy about.

Though as you can see they DO work well with other brands dive gear too :D

The other amazing thing is that everything you showed in your pictures probably cost around or less than $30. I bought a bunch of those divers last year at Dollar General for a buck each! Love this stuff!! Also the news about PTE is that we'll soon be able to find it at Big Lots and an announcement soon of NEW PTE products!

Ok guys, a little education for the rest of us. What does PTE stand for, and can you tell us how to get these figures?

Very good job on those JA, and look forward to seeing more of your work. Man, this forum is becoming very entertaining!

Thank`s Blaster for jumping in with the info mate :D

You should be able to find some of the PTE stuff in some stores too.No idea though for you guys in the US. In the UK usually it`s Toymasters that carry them.

Eddie thank`s very much mate :D Yep SSHQ has shown a lot more talent here as of late & I truely do think having a Custom section has been a Big step in the Right direction :D So thank`s P51 & Aferg :D
