Large Photography / Display base.

Post by normandy » Tue Aug 08, 2017 4:52 am

As I stated in the Bookcase Display topic, I wanted to make a large base for photographing and display of
armor and vehicles. Here are some of the first pictures.....

This display base is over 5 feet long and 1 and a half feet wide. More updates as time permits.

Normandy, that base is truly an inspiration :D I love the way the road looks and the split-rail fence.

I so badly need to get my large display board together as well, with the landscaping, 21c & BAR buildings, and all. (It was going smoothly until I got distracted by other projects...) But your work is amazing and something for me to aspire to!

Normandy, I hope you don't mind if I use some of your ideas. I could only hope to come close to the quality.

Axis, I'd be happy if you did. I've always posted pics of what can be done with 1:18 scale in hopes of creating
ideas other collectors might try. :)

The perspective on the outdoor shots is outstanding, the road, wall and fencing really add to the overall reality.

Very well done diorama/display. I never thought of doing a fence like that.
