real hot stuff in 1:16 and 1:18

Post by Crazy Kraut » Mon Jun 19, 2017 3:09 pm

I get in contact with a well skilled customer and 3D-User in Austria.
He does unbelievebale things and the pics only show a few of his creations.
I love that Biber and think I´ll take it even it is 1:16 scaled.
Enjoy the pics.
If there is some interest, let me know.

And many many more unique german models.
He told me that the one or other is possible to be done in 1:18 scale. The special tank carrier showed in the last pic for example could be done easily in 1:18
What do you think??

That is some fantastic work :D

I would love a Biber in 1/18 or even better a Seehund! That is if the price is not a small fortune

I recently completed a 1/35 scale Seehund and am now working on 1/35 scale Biber. Each would be very doable in 1/18 scale.

Great looking stuff Sven! The V2 and Wasserfall would be cool in 1:18 and the Biber
would also be a nice addition to any collection. Are there any more pictures?

I´ll ask him for prices and the possibilty to make the models in 1:18 scale.
But I fear that not everything will be easily changeable from 1:16 in 1:18.
Maybe I got more info later this day/night.

Some prices for unbuilt kits in 1:16 scale in EUROS

U boats
Biber or Molch : 200
Special transport carrier for u boats 160

V2 300
V2 Firing platform 150
transport carrier for V2 400

Wasserfall 150

Fritz X bomb 85

I think most of the kits got reasonable prices. What do you mean?

Those are very reasonable prices. Hopefully some kits can be made in 1:18.

Lukas, the well talented 3D-constructor from Austria would like to start 1:18 scaled production with the Wasserfall-Ground to Air rocket. He asked me how much interest would be here in the forum. So please if interested let me know. Costs should be in the range like the 1:L16 scaled Wasserfall. Approx. 150 Euros. Maybe we can do a combined order and combined shipping to USA for saving some money on the sending costs.
Please give me some input.
Thanks and best regards from Germany

It seems the Wasserfall is about a 1/4 of the size of the V-2.

Unfortunatelly it seems like there is only very low interest. Maybe because of sending costs???
Lukas told me that he only do the Initial sample at the 3D-Printer. Series are done with resin casting.
For doing it for reasonable prices he needs min. 6 orders per model.
With that Information I think I need to order the Biber in 1:16.

Sven, try posting the information in the 1:18 forum, not all the members look here in the Customs & Mods section.
You might find not everyone has seen Lukas's work.
