I've recently done some repaints of a couple Forces of Valor vehicles, including a Panzer IV G and StuG III G. These have been posted alread in the 32x Forum, but I thought I'd post here as well... Each project represents some experimentation on my part with new paint schemes and weathering techniques. The Panzer IV G made use of the "hairspray method" for painting and weathering a winter whitewash scheme and used Tamiya powders for the mud weathering. The StuG III G represents my first use of the Vallejo Weathering Effects Thick Mud material (which I really like!). Enjoy the pics

Outstanding! I love the side skirts on the Panzer IV
I've seen some great work on here but those are all right up there with the best of 'em.

Tman, nice job on these two pieces! I like the Panzer IV and the winter whitewash scheme, I've tried

Thanks everyone - I really appreciate the positive feedback
Normandy, I had never painted a winter whitewash scheme before I repainted the Panzer IV and there are a variety of different ways to paint and weather a whitewashed vehicle. Personally, I found the "Hairspray Method" to be the easiest. Here's a link to a good reference for painting weathered winter whitewash on vehicles:

While it is for small war gaming tanks, the methods the builder discusses can be used just as effectively on larger scale vehicles.
