I'm going to start posting pics of some of my work.
I lost all of my pictures in the webshots fiasco, they own them...I don't.

Some of these projects are new and other have been ongoing. They'll be in no particular order...


First is the Panzerjager.

Here is an Indy cargo truck custom. Its a Mercedes LG 3000 Tankwagen. Kfz. 384,
Aircraft refueling tanker. Almost finished.

Thanks guys. The only major modification to the truck was to cut the chassis before the front rear axle and remove the truck bed. Then add a 1/2" to the chassis.
Next stage was to build the utility and tanker portion of the vehicle.
The utility section was made of sheet styrene while the fuel tank is made of cut up plastic containers, glued, puttied and sanded.
The rear door on the fuel tank (last pic) is corrugated sheet styrene with a T-50 staple used for a handle.
This Tankwagen was made to be part of a diorama with my Pickelhaube Horten 229, so the current
paint scheme is a base coat.
These Hasbro "Indy Trucks" have plenty of custom possibilities.

Came out great Wish there were more of those old Indy trucks available. Going to check the flea markets and yard sales this Spring.

Jagdpanther, 2000. My first 1:18 custom, I had this Panther a week and then cut it up for the custom.

Hey Pickel, hows it going...good to hear from you.
The Jagdpanther was a scratch custom I did when the 21st Panther hit stores back in 2000.
I also have "somebodies" Jagdpanther kit (yours ) finished but waiting for final paint.
The Das Reich Panther F was painted with Tamiya XF 60 Dark Yellow, then dry brushed with
pastels and sprayed with dull coat. The Panther II also started with a base coat of XF 60.

Lollygagging.....?.......
Well I still look like I took four rounds to the abdomen but slowly feeling better.
I saw Maritime96 yesterday and picked up two more Indy Cargo Trucks, gotta
do something until my King Tiger arrives...... ........

T-34 and 222 up next.....

these are really cool. what scale are they? you ever think of recasting some of these in resin? you could sell or trade them for other customs.

Normandy that 342 Panther is AWESOME!!! Love the way it turned out. Everything else is fantastic as well.

Leadhead, some of these are resin kits made by Pickelhaube.

Maritime, the 342 Panther was one of Pickels kits, I like the way it turned out as well.
Oh and Thank You for the Indy Cargo trucks.

Gliderdwm, the Panzerjager started out as the Avatar AMP Suit and turned into what you see.
I used some parts from the Panzer IV and Tiger I.

Jnewboy, Thats it, kind of... Mine was based on a resign kit by Hobbymodellbau Germany and the second
chapter in a book called Exotic Panzers In Miniature. modeling unusual war machines of the third reich,
by Edward F. McGrane. Schiffer Military History. A fun build and another in my what if 1:18 collection.
