This is my Buin Airfield A6M2 should be a A6M3 type 32 Hamp but no luck on finding that in 1:18th, except that one prototype.
I used Guillows 1:16th Zero decals cut down, and the others were homemade decals. Painted Tamiya J.N. Grey. I removed the antenna just as the Japanese did as a field mod, I think they just sawed it off and I removed the wing stablizers. Still have some more work to do but I figured I'd share.

Nice job on the markings :) Really like the figures with it. :) Reminds me of the scene from "Empire of the Sun".

What figure did you use for the mechanic figure if you don't mind me asking?

I used Lt. Watanabe from the 21C Japanese Marines. I just cut off his neck protection from his cap, trimmed down his pockets, and gun holster straps to make it look like cover-alls and then airbrushed him. I need to find a pair of arms with the sleeves rolled up from my other 21C guys, I wish I could find some short pants too, to make him look more like a IJN jungle airstrip mechanic. He's pretty much done as a IJN carrier mechanic.
