 What happened to the big ray gun type thing in the back of the Troop Car??????
They look Great Zelda! The addition of doors, bumper, gas cans and other details make it look like a model and not some kids toy. Nice paint job on both vehicles as well!!
It would be nice if Hasbro would re-release these, the custom potential is almost limitless....thats stretching it but they fill an empty spot in the 1:18 vehicle world.

Wow! The camo on the troop car is amazing! What paints are you using?

Very nice upgrades, this is the best overhaul I've seen on these two vehicles. Have you thought about doing something like this with the schlech Safari Truck?

Outstanding 1958Zelda, per your usual standards.
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

I've got a stack of Indy vehicles I picked up when they were out... this is pure inspiration in this thread. Wow.

JJ, you got a stack of these Indy vehicles? Thats cool, I found a few before the supplies dried up.
I was surprised with the detail of these generic German trucks, they defiantly filled a void in the 1:18 vehicle market. What are the odds Hasbro will ever re release them? The above customs are an inspiration........... Something to add to the project list.

It depends on if another Indy movie comes out or not... The upcoming "lost wave" of Indy figures is a one-shot thing at this point. If a new Indy movie is out, Hasbro owns the rights and I'd think a re-release could happen in one capacity or another... I'd expect any future line to be watered down a little though, but movie lines you strike while the iron is hot anymore (except certain lines like Star Wars that can survive in the off years and on other media).

Indy's vehicles were great though. Lots of detail, just bad paintjobs (and the truck had a decent paintjob even). The car really just needed the gun replaced and some paint, and it was a lot cooler. I think I have more cars than anything. I planned to do a couple customs but haven't gotten around to it, and I'm sure I have more than I ever intended on using now, haha.
