Sherman with molded hull

Post by exether_mega » Sat Aug 14, 2010 8:50 am

Hi guys,

thanks to our friend Pickelhaube we now have a molded hull for our M4A1 Sherman.

Here is mine after his first paint coat. Hulls are not yet fixed together.

As for my Firefly, turret and transmission cover block have been textured with Cast-A-Coat.

More to some.

Thanks for your positive comments guys

I forgot to say I did the Cullins cutter with Evergreen plastic card. As for the firefly I also closed the under hull body with plastic card. Looking much better.

This one will belong to the famous Spearhead 3rd Armored Division. The one who enter and liberate my town in september 1944.

Nice job on both of your Shermans. I have been procrastinating on starting my FireFly and the cast hulled Sherman. It has just been too hot here resently. It was 104 Friday afternoon till the rain cooled things off.
