1/18 Jagdpanther, Stug, Jagdpanzer, kits up-date

Post by thehun » Mon Jan 05, 2009 5:59 pm

Hey Guys,
Boy, I stay off the form for a few days and come back and i missed all kinds of stuff, 1/18 scale better not be dead, If it is i'll be several thousands in the hole, I have been working on these new kits for a while, A few months ago I completely rebuilt, re-molded and re-cast a new top plate that has much more detail that the earlier productions, also all hatches work even the spent shell ejection port hole in the rear, The top plate alone has over 25 cast parts, I’m in the process of making 2 different mantlet molds, Early and late models, The really hard work has been done by me, Putting the top hull together with top plate, making sure everything fits and works together,
I’m trying to work these kits where all you have to do is place it on your tank, With a little work on your end also (See Photos) It’s very simple and easy to put together, You can see the finished product in the photos, It shouldn’t be but a few days and i will finish the new mantlets and these kits will be finished then on to the jagdpanzer and stug kits

Hun, These Jagdpanther kits look sweet. I did a custom Jagd back in '01 but I'd sure like one of yours and a Stug kit as well.
Keep the news coming. Great Work!!!

Jagd-kits

Post by thehun » Sat Jan 10, 2009 6:24 pm

Ok Guys,
These photos will give ya'll a idea about what goes into making these kits, as you can see in the photos there are a lot of pieces to my kit, but you won't have to worry because I’m going to put everything together for you and make sure everything is cleaned up and works together as it should, I take great pride in my customs so I will go the extra mile for you to make sure it's field tested and ready, If you would rather do it yourself that’s ok too, I'll send you a box of pieces and you can have at it, other wise all you will have to do is set my kit on your panther hull, glue it together, seal the cracks, mount your machinegun, mantlet and barrel and you will have a nice custom, there are a few small items I still have to mold, Driver view port, Crew view ports, Antenna mount, air vent, Bio's and bio cover, etc......
many of you who have bought customs from me before know that I usually put a few extra's in the box if I have something made up, Also I do have a small want list--(Very-Small) which I will get put together in a day or so, If you have a item I want, I will give you a fair market price for it and deduct that from the cost of this kit, or you can buy the kit out right,
Shipping: I will only ship priority mail, Overseas buyers I will split the shipping with you to make it fair.
The cost for this Kit will be $195.00+shipping, ( It will be worth every penny)
I will have photos of the complete kit Monday "I hope" If everything goes as planned.
If anyone has any questions you can pm me or E-mail [email protected]
Thanks,

TheHun

great job..
Dragon,
I use a small table saw to make my cuts, or a razor knife, Metal straight edge and clamps, It's based on the thicknes of the styrene to which method i use, I had a couple of fingers get whacked off several years ago so i'm really careful about what i do with my hands, I go real slow, steady and take my time, I don't know about the dental floss but i'll sure give it a try and see.
