Boats? Oh yeah, I'm in.

Why until August? Way too much time for us procrastinators.

Quick question......... this contest is for construction of a new 1/18 scale boat, sub, or patrol craft, not for a diorama, correct?

Just want to make sure I'm on the same page.

Correct. This is not a diorama contest. I selected boats this time because first we haven't done this subject yet, and second
The hull construction can be accomplished pretty easy. The ending date of August means even the busiest of us can find the time to do this contest. Have fun guys and lets see what you can do. Second judge position is filled.

I've just finished the drawings for mine too. Problem is, my wife brought up another subject that would be great for this contest, so now I'm torn. I may just end up building both and see which one I like better. BTW, I have just completed my research on the second subject, so in a sense, it too is already underway.

Would it be possible to enter two models in the contest?
