"Lost's -THE HATCH" used as bunker/pillbox/tunnel

Post by Razor17019 » Sun Aug 05, 2007 8:11 pm

Hello all,
I came across "The Hatch" from the ABC TV series, "Lost" awhile back in TRU. I really had never watched the show, but that hatch thing looked like it could be used for XD purposes. I don't know about you, but I always am looking in thrift shops, garage sales, hobby stores for items that can be easily converted for XD use. Anyway, when TRU started marking these down, I picked up one and took all the small figures off it (they all fit into small square holes that they can easily be pulled out of).
Here is what it originally looked like:

I have converted it to a Vietcong tunnel entrance:

Here it is as a Japanes bunker:

Great use of that piece! It works very well for a Japanese/Viet Cong bunker 8)

It might even work for a Siegfried line scene as well.
