Remove Before Flight Covers

Post by pizzaguy » Sun Feb 21, 2010 7:15 pm

I took a break from building stands and finished a project I have been wanting to do for a while. From the images I found in the net there didn't seam to be a standard, so I used a little artistic liberty.

They look outstanding! I'd definitely be interested in a set if you ever decide to produce & sell them...

Remove Before Flight

Post by mcaulk » Tue Feb 23, 2010 2:16 am

Great covers Nathan!

While researching for your project did you happen to come across any pics of the F-14A ejection seat GRU7-A with Remove Before Flight streamers on the seat. I want to display mine and the RBF flags really add color but I am clueless as to where to pin them???

Regards,

Mike

I didn't come across any good images of the interior. If I see any I will send them your way.

I would like to if there is enough interest. I had thought about selling completed covers and a kit version. The kit version would allow me to keep the cost down. PM me if your interested.

Additional Seats?

Post by mcaulk » Tue Feb 23, 2010 5:36 pm

Possibly this summer. I teach high school and my job is so intense I only get to work on my models on a limited basis. Check back with me in late May.

Regards,

Michael

Nathan, just received my two sets of covers & they are outstanding...I put the black set on my Jolly Rogers & the red set on my Skyworks Grim Reaper. Everything fit w/ little effort & the end result is awesome!
I would recommend these "add-ons" to any JSI F14 owner w/a static display.
Worth every penny & super fast delivery! Thanks, again!

Great news, my spare Hornet is the only plane I have displayed gear down. These will be great.

Those cats look great. The covers add that little extra kick. Who did your repaints?

Skyworks - Cleaned up the Jolly Rogers & added 1st series of their metal gear, earlier this year...Just did the Grim Reaper & added their updated metal gear which looks amazing.
