DIO-Beyond the beach
DIO-Beyond the beach
I had some time to start on a dio that I have been wanting to try. This is going to be D-day or shortly after in hedgerow country, and will most likely feature paratroopers. Here is the durafoam base for the terrain and some shots after the road was formed. The paint is wet and I am not intentionally going for a wet ground look..but I do like it.

Dawn breaks over the Normandy hedgerows.Members of the 101st airborne continue toward their objectives.
Daylight is welcomed as these Screaming Eagles consult maps and scout the area.
A less fortunate paratrooper is cut free.

dio
very nice, it came together well. Inspiring.
Hey brother!!!I just want to tell ya---THATS 1 KICK-ASS DIO!!!I like how everything comes together so nicely!!!There is so many things to look at and your focus is just not on 1 thing---which is the 1st and most important thing about a dio!!!The background pic looks great and you have just enough trees and scrub for a hedge roll and still be able to see the field on the otherside of the hedge---perfect!!!I know alot of folks liked the other dio with the German tanks that other guy had posted---then took them off---but I think your dio blows that other guys away big time!!!My hats off to you sir!!!Now I would like to see what you can do with the MARINES!!! Keep up the great work brother!!!---RED---

Thanks all.On to the next.
I have always been more of an ETO guy. Besides...there is a certain member here who has the Marine dios thoroughly handled.RED wrote: Now I would like to see what you can do with the MARINES!!! Keep up the great work brother!!!---RED---
