New DIO in the WORKS!!! UPDATED 1-29-10

Hey yall!!! I got a new dio in the works!!! I got alittle bit of painting a some custom work to do but I got 2 figures pretty much done other than some painting here and there!!! The dio is going to be on,in,and around a Troopship/LST/Transport ship!!!With all the cold weather and rain I thought Id get a few things done dio wise while Im couped up here at home!!! Hopefully I should have alot done in time for some nice outside pics!!!Here is just a little bit of my ideal!!!---RED---

what did you use for the guy in the T-shirt? Is that a mutt williams figure?

Yes sir it is!!! I got afew to use as some Navy guys but painted this one to look like a young Marine replacement!!!The D.I. is a mix-match of aGerman FJ Captain body BotB arms and a USMC head!!! Im going to replace the head and repaint the overseas cover/hat tonight!!!hope to have some more pics up soon !!!---RED---

Hey yall!!! Here are some more pics of a dio Im working on!!! Keep in mind this is not done yet---just some pics of the WIP!!! I still need to add some more detail!!! The pic is inside of a ship---the lay out of the room is the same as in the movie Flags of Our Fathers!!!I thought it looked pretty good and would be easy to make!!! I still have alot to do for the rest of the dio---things like build a dock for the At Port pic and afew At Sea pics as well!!!I will post more as I go along---keep posted!!!---RED---

Hey yall!!! Thanks for the nice comments and all!!! As for the Jap tank---its a WIP!!! Im still working on it but a few things I did needed to be redone---so Im still working on it---its just been slow going!!!As for the dio Im working on---I trying to have enough done by the time it gets warm enough to get into the water for some of the pics I plan on takeing!!! :wink: Wish me luck!!!---RED---

LOL Theres alot I cant do brother---But I try real hard!!! :wink: As for the valve wheel---it came from the breach off of a anti-tank gun--- I think ---!!! Im 100% sure it didnt come off a Tiger!!! Thanks again !!!---RED---
