Jason,

Are you guys going to post pics of the NY Toy Fair on your website?
I'd like to be able to find and view your product pics, and drool every now and then!

CW4USARMY, Jason is going to post pics of all of the the planes shown side by side as he had stated earlier later on. I would like to see the entire AT collection in a group pic myself.

The planes look beautiful. Can't wait to get my hands on them, especially the F-4 and Skyraider... :D

Fantastic work.

Wow.. This is really causing me a problem. I'm a ground guy.. Thought that was clear by now? :D

But you guys keep coming out with awesome aircraft and I keep buying em..

Now prior to all this I had no idea what a pitot tube was, why the pilot sat on the parachute, ordinance, intakes and control surfaces...? But now these things are all important to me.. a ground guy!

If you ever make a 1:18 tank I might explode..

Gaahhhhhhhh...........

Jason:

Thanks for posting the new photos :D

The Dauntless (my favorite of your new bunch) is absolutely beautiful! I understand your comment about being far into tooling. No worries...it looks very well done and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing it in paint and in person!

I'll have to pick up a Skyraider, too! The F-4 is fabulous. Looks like the first paint will be USAF, but that's okay as I'm sure that a Navy scheme won't be far behind.

I must admit that I haven't purchased an Admiral aircraft yet...because of the size, I limit myself to Navy aircraft. That doesn't mean I don't admire the others--I certainly do!! The F-86 is very well done, and the different paint schemes are tempting.

But Admiral certainly has my attention with this new crop of Navy aircraft.

Keep up the great work!
JimBob

I think he said in an earlier post that they would. That would make it look fine against my f-18.

no, unless that is the "tweak." no biggy imo. really not the same as a Corsair, A-1, Hellcat or Avenger with respect to the wingfold being part of the AC's identity.

Remember, 21st *is* Walmart now, so expect them to follow the same business practices! Identify the competition, undercut their prices, and force them out of business by using your overall sales (or guaranteed shelf space contract) to use their product line as a loss leader. Happened all across america.
Thanks for the info now I understand WMs lack of interest in keeping its shelves stocked. :P :P On the other hand bringing out the same plane by different companies is good for competition. With such a big desparity in the price between the two let the customer deciede which one he wants.

Jason, the Admiral Toys website (news section) says for us to "check daily" for full reports and full photographic coverage of Admirals showing at the NY Toy Fair. Unfortunatley, there is nothing there. WIll you guys be posting the info and pics later? I know you posted some here in these forums but thats not what your web page says. Was hoping you guys would follow through and post the pics on your web page so we could easily find them.

Thanks, and keep up the great work! You guys are really bringing on the heat and quality in our hobby!

They will be up as soon as possible. Our hotel lost internet access during the first half of the week we were in NY. We could not post anything at the time.

Jason,
If you are looking for additional reference photos of the Skyraider, the current issue (March/April) of Warbird Digest has a feature on the AD-1. It contains some gorgeous photos of various paint schemes.

Looking forward to the day of its arrival!

G'day Jason

This is just a bit of an FYI.

While Googling the Skyraider I came across an interesting set of sites (see the links below) owned Byron Hukee aka SpadGuy, to me it is very informative with his own flight journal on line and much general Skyraider knowledge especially as far as SOS (Sandy) operations go.
He also has a very good reference page with reviews of Skyraider related references and other books.

I wrote to Bryon to thank him for his site and to tell him about your up and coming Skyraider. Byron promptly wrote me back and sounded very keen on a A-1H (in 1st SOS tail code, TC colours of course) and he would seem to be a very approachable individual and it may pay you to drop him a line.

This is what makes this site so darn cool!

I really appreciate the assistance all of you give. One man's eye will always miss something. But with your assistance we can come out with the best possible product. We do countless hours of research on each aircraft. But with a hundred more eyes and ears to assist in our research, we should get a pretty good representation out to you.

Honestly, these are your planes. I like that you all get involved with the production of your product. We have high standards at Admiral Toys, but reaching your standards is our goal. Of course this goes for what is within reason. No, we will not put working struts on our aircraft anytime soon.

I will not mention names on a public forum, but you all know who you are that have sent Admiral Toys reference material, or have offered to mail photos. None of your assistance or ideas is dismissed without a thorough going over, and is much appreciated.

Regards,
Jason

Right back at you, I'm sure that I'm not alone when I say that it is great that we able to have any input to the manufacturer’s discission possess and more importantly your unbridled enthusiasm for your product subjects is much appreciated.

I personally love to get buried into a subject and I’ll be the first to admit that other than knowing that I liked the Skyraider, I knew next to nothing specific about the aircraft before you announced your model, it is a tribute that the subtle details of the prototype have allowed to actually ID the exact aircraft types (A-1H/J) that the model represents. I am very happy to be one of the extra set of eyes and only hope that my observations do not cause you any grief.

Besides who needs working struts when we have all this extra ordinance to distract us ( hint  )
