I came to the conclusion tonight that we need to have a full compliment of ordnance to be made available.

yes that red line indecates the ecternal difference and there are A LOT of internal differences I would love to see it in 1/18 because it is my favorit plane.

oh and the skyraider looks great

IMHO
The F-2 does look nice but I would rather see other aircraft made like the F-4, F-15 or the F111. Beside it looks very much like an F-16.

What is this shroud?
Will it be removable?
Will see the radial engine detail?

Those were generally for cold weather engine start and warm up. Similar to a cold front for cars. Very common with Soviet piston a/c. After warm up they would slide/fold for normal engine ops.

I didn't notice that, good eye. Good guestion also, if it's molded closed, then the only real display option on on the ground.

Thanks.

could be that they haven't finalized all the engine detail yet. It's still a while out, he said. Just like the open pylons--there are still a few details to hammer out besides paint, I am sure.

May be there will be an changeable section where you can switch them out.

I was thinking that too.

If it is armor plating, I hope its adjustable, because I would like to see the detail of the radial engine.

to me it looks like they fold inward.

Is there any hint on that new release--or can we just assume it is an F-5 :)

Intrepid version

Post by JimBob55 » Mon Feb 05, 2007 9:27 pm

The Skyraider will have many great paint options. My favorite would be the Intrepid version that VMF115 posted. :)

Well if not an F-5 its an A-10 that would be the trifecta of all releases, Dauntless, Skyraider and the A-10. Its like the evolution of Attack/Bomber aircraft.

I think F-5 is a good guess due to the rumors but what about the Kate? Is that still not a possibility considering the 1/32 version shown and the Dauntless incoming?
