ALIEN---Neill Blomkamp (DISTRICT 9) posted that his sequel to the original Alien franchise is underway and included a photo. 20th Century Fox confirmed that Blomkamp will write/direct the sequel which is set after the PROMETHEUS sequel, but it is not directly connected to PROMETHEUS. Ridley Scott is the producer of both sequels.
DEADPOOL---Morena Baccarin (HOMELAND, GOTHAM) will play the lead female role and love interest for Ryan Reynold's character.
SHAFT---reboot movie underway for the 1971 movie that starred Richard Roundtree. CBS ran a short-lived series in 1973 that starred Roundtree. Samuel L. Jackson and Roundtree starred in a 2000 spinoff movie.
BOUNTY---Will Smith stars in this movie as a man who is imprisoned for a murder he didn't commit. After he escapes to prove his innocence, he discover's the victim's widow has a $10 million bounty on him.
THOMAS EDISON---untitled biomovie underway at Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot.
