Dragonfly microdrone project

French Délégation générale pour l'Armement (DGA, Weapons research and Development department in the Ministry of defense) is curretnly working on a small flying robot (5 centimeters long and a weight of 120 milligrams) to be used on urban battlefields

dubbed "Libellule" (dragonfly), this microdrone is supposed to become a real angel for the infantryman on the battlefield in the next 20 years

i'ts flying capability is based upon the real dragonfly's it has 4 wings of 3 cm. each wing is moved by 180.000 microscopinc "muscles"
