Speculation in the CMP community is the price will be at or over $1000 which seems crazy to me. We still had 45s when I first joined the guard and they had seen better days. It’s too bad because I have gotten very nice Garands and a carbine from the CMP.

Yeah, I got that email. All the hassle of the CMP with none of the benefits except access to purchase.
