Small Scale Military Headquarters

Looking for recommendation for a book that evaluates effectiveness of allied ground attack aircraft in WW2. The closest I have read was in Nicklas Zetterling's book, Normandy 1944: German Military Organization, Combat Power and Organizational Effectiveness.

it was pretty freaking devastating! no need for a book they destroyed everything. just watch youtube videos of the attacks. all the germans could do was cut up trees and put them on their vehicles. they made tree covered little areas on all the roads so they could dip off if they saw a plane. they couldn't concentrate their armor and they could only move their army's at night. and when they couldn't find any german vehicles they shot at cows and farmers so they had nothing to eat. alot of the damaged caused would have been behind enemy lines and as much chaos going on in the german army i doubt many reports ever made it back to the HQ and then saved

Overall you will find some fascinating opinions on the effectiveness of CAS and the larger argument of who should control it.
